Emmylou Harris was born on this date in 1947. I started buying her albums in the 1970s. I've seen her perform twice, once at Milwaukee's Summerfest, and once at what was then the Milwaukee Auditorium, backed that time by the Hot Band which included Ricky Skaggs.
