For those of us who enjoy the mystery genre, from the Wall Street Journal:
The four finest mystery anthologies, and one vital guide.
I've had the Barzun and Taylor book, A Catalogue of Crime/Being a Reader's Guide to the Literature of Mystery, Detection, and Related Genres, since it was published in 1971 and I will soon order the Hillerman, A New Omnibus of Crime, which sounds like a worthy successor to the Dorothy Sayers anthology.
